Besides the history of this project, this article presents the theoretical framework it is based on as well as its organic classification and consequently the classification of dictionaries.[es]La obra *Diccionario bibliográfico de la metalexicografía del español (dbme)* reúne en sus páginas la mayor parte de la producción bibliográfica escrita sobre los diccionarios y enciclopedias del español.
