An unofficial English translation of the Royal Decree 1495/2011, of 24th October 2011, whereby the Law 37/2007, of November 16, on the re-use of public sector information, developed for the public state sector, has been posted on this website.

This regulation was adopted last month by the Council of Ministers and establishes the rule of making public data open and available by default.

The Royal Decree underwent a public consultation during November and December 2010.
