AMB Mobilitat

AMB Mobilitat is a mobile application that integrates the public transport services available in the metropolitan area of Barcelona: bus, metro, Cercanías, FGC, TRAM, bicycle, etc.

This mobile application provides information on the frequency of all transport in real time and the availability of the main shared services. It also allows you to visualise the best routes and journeys. In general terms, AMB Mobilitat integrates data on:

• Real-time arrival estimation.
• Route of the selected route.
• Connectivity between all modes of transport.
• Timetables
• Routes of each transport.
• Real-time availability of shared services.

In addition, it has the following functionalities:

• TAXI: order a taxi from your screen with Picmi Taxi and check the status of the nearest taxi ranks.
• FAVORITES: customise the mobility services you use most often. Save your favourite stops, lines and locations to make it easier to plan your journeys.
• CYCLE NETWORK: consult the cycle network, available vehicles and bicycle parking facilities in the Barcelona metropolitan area, and plan your journey by bicycle.
• SERVICE NOTICES: see service notices and disruptions affecting your preferred transport lines.
• Pollution ALERT: an alert shall be triggered when there is a precautionary warning or an environmental pollution episode is declared.

For private vehicle users, it incorporates relevant information on the different low-emission zones, park-and-ride car parks (P+R) and the nearest petrol stations.
