Description

This layer identifies water bodies (reservoirs, estuaries, or coastal waters) that have been designated as sensitive areas under the urban wastewater treatment regulations. These are areas where nutrient discharges (phosphorus and nitrogen) must be strictly controlled to prevent excessive algal growth and oxygen depletion in the aquatic ecosystem.
