Description

The dataset consists of various file types containing information related to the total solar eclipse of August 12, 2026. GeoTIFF with an 800-meter resolution grid containing the eclipse ephemeris values: elevation and azimuth of the Sun in degrees at the peak of the eclipse, maximum obscuration, times (in UT) of sunrise and sunset, times (UT) of the start, peak, and end of the partial phase, and times (UT) of the start and end of totality. GeoJSON with contours of maximum obscuration in 10% intervals. GeoJSON with contours of totality phase duration in 10-second intervals. GeoJSON with contours of the totality path progression in 3.6-second intervals. GeoTIFF with visibility conditions at the eclipse maximum with a 300 m grid.
