Bird Distribution Article 12 (period 2013-2018)

The WMS (Web Map Service) called "Distribution of Birds Article 12 (period 2013-2018)" allows the visualization and consultation of the set of data representing the Distribution Cartography of wild bird species. It responds to the legal obligation of the Commission to periodically evaluate the progress in the application of the Directives, on the basis of monitoring and notification work by the Member States. The measures adopted within the framework of the Birds Directive (Directive 2009/147/EC) aim at the long-term conservation of wild bird species through measures to conserve, maintain and restore the diversity of wild birds and the area of ​​their habitats.
