Public spending on scholarships and study grants

Statistical operation of the National Statistical Plan carried out by the Subdirectorate General of Statistics and Studies of the Ministry in cooperation with the statistical services of the Ministries/Departments of Education of the Autonomous Communities, and with the collaboration of the Budget Office of the Ministry. It provides annual information on the expenditure allocated to all levels of education by the Public Administrations as a whole. This expenditure is broken down according to different criteria, such as the type of Administration, the educational activity or the economic nature of the expenditure. The data offered, which are accompanied by the statistical methodology, are the detailed results since 1999 and the series of the main basic data and indicators since 1992, the year in which these statistics began.
