The European Qur’an. Islamic Scripture in European Cultures and Religion 1150-1850 (EuQu) is a research project (2019-2025 that aims to explore the ways in which the Islamic Holy Book is embedded in the intellectual, religious and cultural history of Medieval and Early Modern Europe. This research studies how the Qur’an has been translated, interpreted, adapted and used by Christians, European Jews, freethinkers, atheists and European Muslims in order to understand how the Holy Book has influenced both culture and religion in Europe. EuQu is an ERC Synergy project formed by a consortium led by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC); the University of Naples L’Orientale (UNO); the University of Copenhagen and the University of Nantes (UN). This is version 2 of the dataset that can be found in this same repository: [http://hdl.handle.net/10261/380406]http://hdl.handle.net/10261/380406 The dataset from The European Qur’an project allows us to reconstruct a network of data curated by more than 50 researchers. This network consists of a set of nodes and relationships between nodes. Each node is assigned to a type consisting of manuscripts, texts, printed editions, and actors, and each node has a series of specific descriptive properties (data) encoded. The nodes are linked by relationships that also have their own typology encoded. Here we publish four tables, one for each type of node, a table of relationships between nodes, and a database schema. The node tables include the following properties: textual_composition, text_alif_maqsura_dotted, hands, writing_support, origin_of_bookbinding, language, text_hamza_colour, institution, watermark_position, quranic_reading, text_ductus_colour, number_columns, state_of_preservation, bibliographical_references, heading_ductus_colour, link_catalogue, text_alif_elongation_colour, text_vowels_colour, other_places, presence_of_numeration, number_of_lines, released_date, script, explicit, typology, text_tashid_colour, incipit, heading_alif_maqsura_dotted, colophon_alif_maqsura_dotted, colophon_calligraphic_style, headings_vocalisation, covering_material, text_calligraphic_style, first_writing_line, catchwords, headings_calligraphic_style, material_composition, folio_measures, colophon_ductus_colour, writing_baseline_orientation, text_vocalisation, colophon_vocalisation, writing_support_colour, text_sukun_colour, bookbinding_type, total_pages, writing_frame_measures, former_location, present_shelfmark, location, category, former_institution, name, city, state, year, title, original_name, education_place, birthdate, deathdate, name_variations, activity_institution, activity_start_date, main_activity, birthplace, activity_place, activity_end_date, secondary_activity, deathplace, education_institution, date, full_title, pages, quran, place_of_publication, quran_structure, title_manuscript, textual_interval, link_library_catalogue, former_shelfmark, title_position, colophon_position, attributed_title, current_location ,explicit_position, preservation_state, collection, other_dates, codicological_unit, released_place, incipit_position, Status, quran_quotations, original, formal_expression, section, source, creation_date, title_in_english, content, title_variations, content_table, genre, use_macro, use_micro, format, suras, further_notes, publication_place, author, originalname, eduaction_place, short_title, type, illustrations, colophon, quranic_structure_decoration, general_decoration, marginalia, entry_author, pshelfmark, fshelfmark, tvariations, author_entry, arabic_type, sources, printer, individuals, From, lon, lat, fol, initial_formula, origin_numeration, numeration_system, presence_numeration, headings_alif_maqsura_dotted, line_number, headings_ductus_colour, text_alif_elongation, colophon_tashid_colour, colophon_vowels_colour, colophon_sukun_colour, calligraphic_style, colour, hands_marginalia, transcription, about_the_text, position, fifth_ayats_division, surah_headings_decoration, sayda_deco_calligraphic_style, hizb_division_deco, hizb_subdivision_location, surah_headings_colour, hizb_location, hizb_subdivision_colour, sayda_decoration, sayda_location, surah_headings_remarks, hizb_decoration_colours, sayda_deco_colours, hizb_subdivision_calligraphic, tenth_ayats_division, first_ayat_division, hizb_decoration, bookbinding_measures, origin_bookbinding, decorations, decoration_colour, decoration_position, writing_area_measures, fifth_ayat_colour, numbered, fifth_ayat_markers, first_ayat_markers, tenth_ayat_markers, first_ayat_colour, dbId, sources2, rplace, stitle, quotations, atype, latitude, longitude, path La tabla de las relaciones entre nodos está compuesta por 55 tipos de relaciones: owner_of, preparatory_of, editor_of, commisioner_of, copy_of, translator_of, translation_of, author_of, protector_of, publisher_of, part_of, mentioned_in, kinship_of, copyist_of, supplement_of, supplement_to, other_relation_with, exemplum_of, printer_of, protege_of, apograph_of, reader_of, quoted, commentary_of, included_in, includes, polemic_on, quotes, uncertain_author_of, edited_in, edition_of, contribution, waqif_of, glossator_of, decorator_of, disciple_of, master_of, predecessor_of, addresse_of, same_exlibris, seller_of, transliterator_of, revisor_of, annotated_copy_of, dedicatee_of, mawquf_of, same_hand, part_of_same_manuscript, written_for, translated_in, same_shelfmark_of, borrower_of, lender_of.
