1. Introduction
Visualisations are graphical representations of data that allow to communicate, in a simple and effective way, the information linked to the data. The visualisation possibilities are very wide ranging, from basic representations such as line graphs, bar charts or relevant metrics, to interactive dashboards.

Ingeniera Agrónoma con Master en Ingeniería Medioambiental y Gestión del Agua, con experiencia en hidrología e hidráulica y gestión de agua y riego, infraestructuras rurales, política territorial y de desarrollo rural, especialmente en el ámbito de la programación y la innovación.
Actualmente es Subdirectora General de Innovación y Digitalización, dentro de la DG de Desarrollo Rural, Innovación y Política Forestal del MAPA, responsable de la implementación y dinamización de la EIP AGRI a nivel nacional a través de los Programas de Desarrollo Rural, del desarrollo de la Estrategia de digitalización del sector agroalimentario y forestal y del medio rural del MAPA y de la configuración de los Sistemas de Conocimiento e Innovación en la Agricultura en la nueva PAC, siendo experta en el grupo de trabajo estratégico SCAR -AKIS.

Role and challenges of open data standards
Although there are increasingly more available data nowadays, it is still very difficult to work with these data due, among other reasons, to the fact that they are generally published in different formats, following different data models that hinder their re-use and merge.
