Exposed population to the noise levels from Strategic Noise Map of the city of Barcelona

Description

Exposed population data determine the percentages of the population exposed to the different noise ranges, according to the type of source and the time period. The data is available at city, district and neighbourhood level.

A Strategic Noise Map (SNM) is a set of maps that serve to globally assess the population's exposure to noise produced by different noise sources in a given area, and to serve as the basis for the development of action plans. They are used as a management tool to fight noise pollution and are developed every 5 years.

This information can be graphically consulted in the Environmental data maps. The other available datasets from Strategic Noise Map can also be consulted.
