General information
The ISEAK Foundation is a research and transfer center in the field of economics, specialized in the evaluation of public policies on employment, inequalities, inclusion or gender.
Main products and services
The ISEAK Foundation carries out research and evaluations of public policies based on empirical data that allow us to understand the current problems in the aforementioned areas. In addition, it develops a series of observatories, http://www.iseaklab.eu, in which, in a visual way, data related to inequality, employment, etc. are shown.
Key to success
Both the studies carried out by ISEAK and the observatories are based on public data. The richness of these data allows society, both citizens and public decision makers, to have accurate information based on empirical evidence that allows them to better understand the socioeconomic reality. In the specific case of the observatories, the data is updated as frequently as possible, allowing the observations to be as up to date as possible. This has been particularly relevant during the pandemic, for example.
Data used
ISEAK uses public data sources such as: INE, TGSS or Eurostat. Opendata Euskadi is used for the observatories.
Marketing model
Most of the studies and observatories developed by ISEAK are available on its website and are accessible free of charge, as they are part of research projects developed together with public administrations.
