Key to success

Key to success

The key to FISOTEC is its obsession with data quality. Every field data collection run is processed through proprietary automatic validation algorithms, cross-referenced with official sources (Catastro, Cartociudad, IGN, OpenStreetMap, CDAU), and manually reviewed by qualified technicians before final delivery. It is this combination of automation and human verification that enables us to provide reliable urban infrastructure inventories, something critical when city governments make investment and maintenance decisions based on that data.

Future plans

FISOTEC is working to establish itself as the leading company in the digitization of urban infrastructure and the creation of Smart Cities. This involves continuing to expand the UBIQUA-IA ecosystem and specialized tools such as Geolumen, always guided by the same principle that has driven the company since its inception: a smart city can only be built on reliable infrastructure data.

Catastro, Cartociudad, IGN (National Geographic Institute), OpenStreetMap, and CDAU (Unified Digital Street Map of Andalusia). FISOTEC cross-references these official open data sources with information collected in the field (GPS/GNSS, mobile mapping, 3D laser scanning) as part of its validation process for urban infrastructure inventories.

Inventory services (Essential, Smart BIM, 360°) are primarily sold on a project-by-project basis, in accordance with the standard public procurement procedures used by local and regional governments (through competitive bidding or direct contracting, as applicable). The UBIQUA-IA platform and tools such as Geolumen are offered on a modular basis alongside data capture projects.
