Data used:


One of KSNET's main raw materials is data and, in particular, open data. They work with microdata from the main surveys carried out by the INE: Living Conditions Survey (LCS), Economically Active Population Survey (EAPS), Household Budget Survey (HBS), Spanish National Health Survey (ENSE), Continuous Household Survey (ECH) or the Survey on ICT Equipment and Use in Households. In addition, they also use microdata from other institutions such as PISA and PIAAC of the OECD, The Global Findex Database of the World Bank, or the Continuous Sample of Working Lives (upon request and approval), among many others.

They not only work with microdata, but also with statistics and aggregate data, such as the INE continuous census, SEPE and Social Security statistics, data from international organisations such as Eurostat, the World Bank, the OECD and the IMF. In addition, they are a user of open data from the portals of public administrations at national, regional and local level, such as datos.gob.es, Comunidad de Madrid, Ayuntamiento de Madrid, Generalitat de Catalunya or Ayuntamiento de Barcelona, among many others.

They also work with the private data provided by their clients in order to carry out their work efficiently. And, if they do not have the necessary information, they design surveys, interviews or discussion groups with academic methodologies to obtain primary data.
